America used to be married to the teacher occupation because of what teachers give, education, is important in our lives. It has always been stressed how an education is the key to life and career prosperity. But lately, our culture has been committing the act of infidelity with money and fame. For the past few years, people constantly parade how they drop out of high school or college, started a company, and made thousands upon millions of dollars. For example, I read a news story about a tech mogul paying two high school graduates $100k each to be entrepreneurs and not go to college. America's relationship with teachers and education is two-faced because you always hear people telling kids to stay in school, then turn around and say all you need is a good idea to "make it". As you can see, there is a teacher (chalk and ruler in hand) with RED blood running from her lip, a swollen BLUE eye, and a WHITE tear. Yes, USA colors!
