Whether it be the soldier or the ad campaigns of the armed forces, there always seems to be glorification when it comes to a soldier being stationed somewhere in the world. Whether it's such visual eye candy as beautiful landmarks or exotic nightlife, it seems as though the dark side of soldier life (ptsd, getting wounded on location) plays #2 to the fact that you can see the world.
